The Short Version

Eclipse collects nothing. Your data never leaves your device.

We have no servers. No accounts. No analytics. No tracking. Nothing to hack, nothing to sell, nothing to subpoena. Your birthday, your name, your journal entries — they live on your phone and nowhere else.

What Data Eclipse Uses

Eclipse needs the following to work:

• Your name — to personalize your readings. Stored locally on your device only.
• Your birthday — to calculate your Life Path Number, zodiac signs, and daily readings. Stored locally on your device only.
• Your birth time (optional) — to refine astronomical calculations. Stored locally on your device only.
• Journal entries — your daily reflections. Stored locally on your device only.

What Eclipse Does NOT Do

• We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.
• We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising SDKs.
• We do not share data with third parties.
• We do not require an account, email, or phone number.
• We do not use cookies or device fingerprinting.
• We do not access your contacts, photos, location, or any other device data.

Data Storage

All data is stored using AsyncStorage on your device. If you delete the app, all data is permanently deleted. There is no cloud backup, no sync, and no way for us to recover your data.

In-App Purchases

Eclipse+ subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles all payment information. We never see your payment details. For Apple's privacy practices, see apple.com/privacy.

Push Notifications

Eclipse may send local push notifications (daily reminders). These are generated entirely on your device — no data is sent to any server. You can disable them in your device settings at any time.

Children's Privacy

Eclipse is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change our privacy practices, we will update this page. Given our architecture (zero servers, zero data collection), significant changes are unlikely.
